Have you ever noticed the white plastic pipes used in bathrooms, furniture, or even science projects? Those are PVC pipes — short for Polyvinyl Chloride.
PVC is one of the most useful materials in modern design because it is lightweight, waterproof, non-rusting, and easy to shape. Unlike metal, it doesn’t get rusty, and unlike wood, it doesn’t break easily or absorb water. That’s why PVC is often used in building and creative design projects — including our lamp design!
