Karkhana Makerspace® is a pioneering force in building hands-on innovation ecosystems across India. We empower students, educators, startups, and institutions by setting up and managing makerspaces, Fab Labs, and experiential learning environments that are digitally enabled and NEP 2020-aligned.
With the mission to democratize access to innovation infrastructure, we provide plug-and-play maker kits, full-service lab setup, and curriculum-aligned programs that promote 21st-century skills and entrepreneurial mindsets.
Karkhana Makerspace aligns closely with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by enabling access to innovation, education, and technology inclusively and equitably.

Mission
21st-Century Skills for All: We are committed to building a generation of creative problem-solvers and critical thinkers by integrating experiential learning rooted in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics).
I grew up curious about how things worked — circuits, motors, machines. But access was always the problem. The tools were either in someone else's factory or behind a college gate I hadn't earned my way into yet.
Karkhana was built to tear down that gate.
Today, we work with schools in small towns, universities in major cities, and CSR programmes that reach communities that have never seen a 3D printer. The goal is the same everywhere: give people permission to try, fail, and build again. When someone makes their first working prototype — even a simple one — something shifts. They stop asking 'can I do this?' and start asking 'what should I build next?'
That shift is what Karkhana is for.
