A place to turn knowledge into something that works.
AIC NITF Fab Lab is a design and prototyping facility at the Atal Incubation Centre of Nalanda Institute of Technology Foundation. It combines basic mechanical tools with digital fabrication machinery so users can take a project through design, production and assembly in one environment.
Monthly workshops provide structured entry points into robotics and design, while the lab also offers prototype-development support. The result is a practical bridge between an early idea and a physical build that can be tested, shown and refined.
Capabilities built around making.
3D design & printing
CAD-to-part workflows for product forms, mechanisms and custom components.
Laser & vinyl cutting
Fast, accurate production of panels, graphics, templates and flat components.
CNC & PCB milling
Small-scale subtractive manufacturing for parts, boards and functional prototypes.
Robotics & IoT
Devices, tools and training for electronics-led connected and automated projects.
The intended outcomes
- Give learners end-to-end exposure to digital fabrication
- Build practical skill through recurring workshops
- Support makers who need help developing a turnkey prototype
