Inside the hub

A place to turn knowledge into something that works.

AIC GGSIPU is supported by NITI Aayog under the Atal Innovation Mission and operates from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University's Dwarka campus. The broader incubation centre supports technology ventures in fields including health, agriculture, environment, manufacturing and AI.

The Fab Lab adds a critical physical layer to that ecosystem. Teams can turn digital designs into components, assemble and test hardware, and improve prototypes alongside the centre's incubation, mentoring and startup-support programmes.

What happens here

Capabilities built around making.

Digital fabrication

Machine-assisted workflows for producing accurate parts and product enclosures.

Hardware prototyping

Space and tools for electronics, robotics and integrated physical product development.

Product validation

Building testable versions early so teams can learn before committing to production.

Incubation support

Connecting technical development with mentors, venture strategy and startup networks.

Why it matters

The intended outcomes

  • Shorten the path from concept to working hardware
  • Give incubated teams shared access to R&D infrastructure
  • Connect fabrication decisions with viable product strategy
