The KISS Science, Technology & Innovation Hub for Tribals is an initiative of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences, supported by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. It connects scientific tools with local knowledge to build practical pathways for social and economic development.
The programme focuses on underserved ST and SC communities, with work across Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj. Its remit reaches beyond a single workshop: training, appropriate technology, local infrastructure and entrepreneurship are brought together around community needs.
